Sliding Rock NCSliding Rock North Carolina
is an amazing natural 60 foot waterslide located in
the Pisgah National Forest NC, and is one of the
Pisgah National Forest Waterfalls located right near Lake Lure North
Carolina. An extremely popular swimming hole and
recreation area in the summer, Sliding Rock NC has
lifeguards on duty and available changing rooms and
restrooms during this time, yet the Sliding Rock North
Carolina recreation area is open year-round. In
addition to the massive waterslide, Sliding Rock
North Carolina is very close to some of the North Carolina Hiking Trails located throughout the
Pisgah National Forest NC.
 To enjoy sliding down Sliding Rock NC you must pay a
small fee to enter the site. Lines typically form at
the rock all day long during the height of the
summer season, and visitors slide, one by one, down the
60 foot, flat slide. A natural, eight foot pool is
located at the bottom and makes the perfect place to land
after sliding all the way down the rock! Sliding
Rock North Carolina and its amazing natural slide is
fed by 11,000 gallons of water per minute, creating
an exhilarating fun ride! While Sliding Rock NC
might not necessarily be considered one of the
Attractions at Lake Lure, this wonderful spot is
always a family favorite and a great place to
